NHS – Accreditation for Qatar University

The Continuing Professional Pharmacy Development Program (CPPD) at the College of Pharmacy (Qatar University) achieved a national accreditation as the first CPD program in Qatar (June 2014) .

The accreditation allows the university to provide training and professional development to all healthcare providers in the country, Qatar University have been actively contributing to up-skilling of pharmacists since 2008 with 10 activities every year attracting an average of 60 practitioners each event. In January 2014, Qatar University, also received the American Council of Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accreditation, making them the only provider with both national and international accreditation. September 2014 saw the CPPD program awarded with the GCC Outstanding Educational Award (received in the UAE). –
