SCH Hosts Workshop on Expatriate Workers Check-up Program

With the participation of representatives for the Executive Board of the Health Ministers’ Council for GCC States and with the participation of delegations from the GCC States and the Republic of Yemen, the Supreme Council of Health (SCH) hosts a workshop on the GCC Expatriate Workers Check-up Program at Hilton Doha in the period from 7 – 8 January 2015.

The workshop aims to undertake a final review of the regulation of the medical examination as well as to train the members of the Central Committee for Expatriate Workers’ Check-up Program and the data entry officers (TOTs) in the use of the electronic linking program in order for them to train the technical committees. These technical committees will in turn train the staff of the GCC consulates and embassies during the evaluation visits.

The workshop comes to enforce the recommendations put forward in the meeting of the Executive Board of Health Ministers’ Council for GCC States, which was held in the last November in Riyadh – Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
